As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can explore The Kremlin which is  citadel with five palaces and four cathedrals that also serves as the official Presidential residence. The architecture here is what most people associate with Russia, with its intricate designs, bright colours and grand size. This is one of the most unforgettable places to explore in the city.

St. Basil’s Cathedral

As on of the main places of worship in the country, this is an absolute must-see in the city. It is reminiscent of a bonfire shape and looks nothing like any of the other buildings in the city; or even the country. Also later a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it sits alongside 8 side churches to make up this palatial cathedral.
